The Mini Collection
Minis started in my ceramics practice as an experiment to learn about various surface designs for larger sculptures. As my collection grew I realized that they had a life of their own, and people began collecting them. When I started working in encaustic it felt natural to go about it the same way. Minis are special because they are like looking through a macro lense. They are intimate little conversations about the wild...most people find themselves moving in for a closer look.
