While driving home in Jefferson County, WV, I witnessed this stunning sunset that made me stop and take a photo. Unlike some painting ideas that take months to develop, this one came suddenly and powerfully. I felt an urgent need to capture the moment, so I walked directly from the car to the studio. It was a creative impulse I couldn’t ignore, driven by strong emotions sparked by the beauty of this glowing evening fire light.
