Minis started in my ceramics practice as an experiment to learn about various surface designs for larger sculptures. As my collection grew so did the requests for more. Now they have a following of their own. When I started working in encaustic it felt natural to go about it the same way. While no two are alike, they all seem to share a wall in harmony much like all the colors and textures in nature share the landscape and come together as one.
